One Voice Central Texas is pleased to invite you to a series with Danny Diaz, Civic Engagement Consultant, focused on Nonprofit Advocacy, Mobilizing, and Organizing.
Each session will last for one hour. It is strongly recommended that members attend the entire series.

About our Speaker:
Danny Diaz is a campaign strategist and organizer advancing the power of working families to harness policy to win transformative change. Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, he serves as LUPE's Director of Organizing where he leads campaigns to win thriving neighborhoods, protect family unity, and build political power for working families on the border. He has also served as senior advisor to the Jessica Cisneros congressional race for District 28. He also led LUPE’s policy efforts during a major mobilization that secured streetlights and flooding protection for South Texas colonias.
Danny is also a proud Kellogg Foundation Fellow, participating in its most recent fellowship cohort- with a focus in racial equity. Danny attended La Joya ISD schools in South Texas and graduated with a degree in History from the University of Arkansas.
